This privacy statement applies only to the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) website at http://www.pharmacyregulation.org.
Links within this site to other websites are not covered by the policy.
This statement outlines how the GPhC will use and protect information provided by site users about themselves.
Personal data
The GPhC may collect personal information about users who send in feedback or take part in electronic consultations. Comments sent to the GPhC via this site will be collected, along with the senders' contact details, and used for the purposes of the consultation concerned.
The Data Protection Act 1998
Site users may obtain confirmation of the basic information held about them by the GPhC at any time. The GPhC will amend incorrect information promptly, once appropriate notice or evidence has been received in writing.
Site users can also request to see all the information held about them by the GPhC under section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998. Requests must be made in writing, and a fee will be charged for each request.

The GPhC website may use cookies from time to time. Cookies capture information about site users, including, for example, how they access the site and which areas they visit.
