GPhC Chair wins award honouring the impact of female leadership

Chair of The General Pharmaceutical Council, Gisela Abbam, has won a Novi award, recognising the impact of female leadership, innovation and entrepreneurism.  Gisela achieved the accolade for the ‘Women on Boards’ category at a ceremony on 24 November.

With the theme “Women Breaking Barriers,” the Novi Awards shine a spotlight on leaders who have overcome exceptional odds to achieve excellence across various sectors in the UK and beyond. Chair of the GPhC and winner of the Novi award, Gisela Abbam, said:

“I’m delighted to be amongst this year’s winners who have shown that it is possible for women of all backgrounds to achieve great things across all different sectors.
