Accounts Payable Assistant

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to ensure the efficient and effective processing of financial transactions for the GPhC. This includes the daily processing and payment of invoices.

The role

The Accounts Payable Assistant will manage the invoice process, including sending invoices to budget holders for authorisation and making sure that supplier payments are settled within the agreed payment terms.

This is a permanent role as part of our Finance and Procurement team. We are seeking an individual who is task orientated, motivated and has the ability to learn and follow processes in a timely and efficient manner. 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Accurate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Understand the purchase ledger process and have experience with using accounting software.
