Applications Team Manager- Maternity Cover

We are seeking an experienced manager to lead the Applications team and make sure accuracy and the integrity of our Register is always maintained.

Salary: £37,105 - £42,900 per annum plus benefits, depending on skills and experience 

Location: Canary Wharf, London (currently working remotely due to COVID-19)

Hours: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday

The role

The Applications Manager will lead a team of around ten members of staff and will be responsible for managing applications from people to be registered as pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and for premises to be registered as pharmacies.  

The successful applicant will:

  • Be capable of inspiring staff and obtaining ‘buy in’ for innovations and new ways of working and can tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Be committed to offering excellent customer service and quality decision-making.
  • Be a strategic thinker who is able to process large amounts of information quickly and carry out an analysis to determine the root cause of the problem.
  • Be highly organised, with experience of managing changing and evolving workloads and can juggle multiple tasks or projects.
  • Have experience of successfully leading a team in a demand-led service delivery environment with seasonal peaks and troughs. Remains calm and collected during periods of peak activity.
