Professional Standards Authority publishes GPhC performance review for 2022/23

The Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA) has found that the GPhC met 17 out of 18 of its Standards of Good Regulation during 2022/23

Temporary register to close in March 2024

The UK Government has asked the General Pharmaceutical Council and other relevant health professional regulators to close our temporary registers on 31 March 2024.

Update on GPhC consultation on fees

The consultation on our proposal to increase GPhC fees has now closed and we are in the process of reviewing all the responses received. Thank you to everyone who contributed their views and feedback.

GPhC announces results for June 2023 registration assessment

A total of 2,805 candidates sat the registration assessment on 27 June, with 2,150 candidates passing the assessment: an overall pass rate of 77%
