The GPhC in Scotland

We work to ensure that pharmacy regulation is responsive to, and reflective of, developments in England, Scotland and Wales

We work collaboratively with a wide range of professionals, regulatory and oversight bodies in Scotland to ensure safe and effective provision of pharmacy services. We also work closely with the Scottish government, which sets out its ambitions for pharmacy in Prescription for Excellence, published in September 2013.

The overriding objective being that all patients, regardless of their age and setting of care, will receive safe and effective pharmaceutical care using the knowledge and skills of pharmacy professionals to their full potential.
