We have signed a joint letter with the UK Chief Pharmaceutical Officers and the PSNI, which thanks everyone working in pharmacy for their remarkable work to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the lives of our fellow citizens and their tireless efforts to support patients.
The letter recognises the challenges that pharmacy professionals and teams will continue to face through the second COVID-19 wave. It asks employers, statutory education bodies, professional bodies and national NHS and health and social care organisations to take a flexible approach during this time. It also highlights the approach that the GPhC and PSNI will continue to take, including taking into account factors relevant to the environment in which the professional is working.
