The criteria for registration as a pharmacist [PDF 674 KB] sets out the education, training and experience requirements you need to complete to register as a pharmacist in Great Britain. If you want to practise as a pharmacist in England, Scotland and Wales, you must be registered with us.
Which route do I use to register?
The registration process and the information you need to provide depends on the country where you gained your qualifications.
See UK-recognised pharmacist qualifications if you completed your training in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
See EEA qualified pharmacists if you qualified in an EEA country with a 'relevant European qualification'.
See Overseas qualified pharmacists if you qualified outside the UK, and your qualification is not a ‘relevant European qualification’.
