During October and November we held the first meetings of our sounding boards, to inform the development of our new inspection model, in England, Scotland, and Wales. These initial meetings focused on a working draft of the inspection decision framework, which sets out indicators and examples of what registered pharmacies will need to show to demonstrate that they are complying with the new standards.
The sounding boards are voluntary groups of pharmacists, superintendent pharmacists, and owners of registered pharmacies, who provide us with operational perspectives on different aspects on our new inspection model. These groups will meet three times in total, over a period of around six months.
