The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)’s board of assessors has published questions from the registration assessment for the first time to illustrate key learning points
Thirteen questions from the open and closed book papers in the June 2015 registration assessment have been published. The board, which operates independently of the GPhC, has also released how candidates performed on each of those questions, along with learning points for candidates and further information on how each question related to the syllabus.
Commenting on the publication of the learning points, Duncan Rudkin, Chief Executive of the GPhC, said:
“We hope that the board’s decision to publish a number of questions from the papers, as well as the learning points for each question, will help pre-registration trainees to improve their understanding of what is expected from candidates and reflect on how they can best prepare to sit the assessment”.
The GPhC has also written to the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (BPSA) in response to its feedback report and recommendations. A copy of the letter can be found here.
