As community pharmacies offer a wider range of services, the GPhC has written to pharmacy owners and superintendents to highlight key aspects of the relevant standards in helping to ensure services are provided safely.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) have published new valproate safety and educational materials to support the implementation of new regulatory measures.
The new draft standards set out the professional responsibilities and describe the knowledge, conduct, and performance required by a Chief Pharmacist (or equivalent) to support their organisation and its staff to deliver safe and effective pharmacy services.
