Risk and Assurance Analyst

We are currently seeking a Risk and Assurance Analyst to support the Risk and Assurance Manager in ensuring that robust risk management processes are embedded throughout our organisation.

The role

The Risk and Assurance Analyst will operate as part of the second line in a ‘three lines of defence’ model, working to ensure that the GPhC manages its risks and has in place the governance framework, policies, procedures and support it needs to function as an effective, proportionate regulator. This is a varied role with great exposure to the rest of the organisation, including the Executive Board and the Audit and Risk Committee.

The successful applicant will:

  • Lead the analysis required to support the development, implementation and review of GPhC enterprise risk management
  • Work to ensure the Governance team supports continuous learning and development across the organisation. 
  • Have demonstrable experience in risk management, audit, and/or compliance.
  • Be a self-starter with a natural curiosity to identify strengths and weaknesses in the control environment.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
