Update February 2013

We are expecting another very busy year as we prepare for a number of key developments in pharmacy regulation, including a new approach to inspecting pharmacies.

Also, the UK Chief Pharmaceutical Officers have initiated a review of the balance between medicines and statutory professional regulation in pharmacy.

We support this initiative and are committed to engaging constructively in this work.

And we are making some changes. We recently recruited to eight vacancies on our governing Council.

We are delighted to welcome five new appointments as well as three current members, to join the six continuing Council members.

The new appointments bring a broad range of experience and skills from across Britain.

You can read more about these appointments and the initiatives we are working on below.
