Back-end Developer

We are looking for a Back-end Developer to develop, maintain and support client server web and mobile applications, web services and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

Salary: £40,000- £50,000 per annum plus benefits, depending on skills and experience 

Location: Canary Wharf, London (currently working remotely due to COVID-19)

Hours: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday

The role

The postholder will develop and support server systems for data extraction, as well as translation and loading to facilitate reporting carried out by the Data and Insight team or for other business needs. And work alongside Front-end and Application Developers (CRM, SharePoint, Navision) to demonstrate proven experience in integration development (middleware) using ASP.NET.  

The successful applicant will:

  • Have excellent knowledge of .NET 4.5 onwards (C#, ASP.NET and WCF) MVC, Web API 2, MVC 6, WCF.
  • Be able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Possess knowledge of agile software development and test-driven development methodologies.
  • Be highly self-motivated and directed and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
