Case Administrator

We are looking for a proactive and hardworking individual to provide administrative and casework support to the Professionals Regulation teams.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to support our teams in investigating allegations concerning pharmacy professionals’ fitness to practice.  The right candidate will be an effective and valuable member of the Professionals Regulation (FtP) Administration team by providing administrative and casework support across the Professionals Regulation teams. 

The postholder will also be responsible for the administration of a caseload of matters which require monitoring and provide reports to the Fitness to Practise Committee as required. The postholder will also help make sure that allegations concerning pharmacy professionals’ fitness to practice are investigated and progressed to closure in line with the GPhC’s objectives and targets for quality, timeliness and cost.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have strong administrative skills and experience of working to strict deadlines.
  • Have a strong commitment to delivering good customer service and will be able to build close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess first class written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt messages for different audiences; influence and deal tactfully with a wide range of people and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Be able to prioritise workloads and demonstrate strong attention to detail whilst appreciating the necessity to handle sensitive and confidential data responsibly.
  • Own a varied workload, ranging from monitoring registrant undertakings and suspensions, updating electronic systems, assembling bundles of evidence etc.
