Registration Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, approachable leader to join our friendly team. You’ll drive our registration team to meet all KPIs and objectives while delivering excellent service to customers and colleagues.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive manager, to bring previous management skills to our organisation.
The registration team plays a vital role here at the GPhC, working to make sure the accuracy and integrity of our Register for pharmacy professionals and premises is maintained. 

You will be managing two Deputy Managers, who manage a team of Registration Officers, providing leadership, expert advice, and support for the team.  

You will be driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the team consistently evolves.  You will bring your passion for customer service and deliver exceptional experiences.  

Staff in this role are usually expected to work in the office between two and three days per week, however during induction and peak periods of work, more office attendance may be required.

This role is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.

The successful applicant will:

  • Directly oversee the work of two Deputy Managers, providing guidance, while supporting the overall performance and development of the entire registration team.
  • Inspire the team by conducting engaging team meetings, one to one sessions and targeted coaching, ensuring clear direction and continuous development.
  • Create a supportive and collaborative environment, encouraging growth and wellbeing for the team.  
  • Experience of working in a customer services environment, dealing with and quality-assuring high volumes of processing and data entry. 
  • Have a target driven mindset with the drive and desire to make sure that all individual and department targets are achieved.
  • Design, develop and implement processes that align with our strategic aims and policy changes.
  • Collaborate with mangers across the Customer Service Team to foster a cohesive and high performing work environment.
