Are you passionate about pharmacy education and assessment? Do you want to drive forward a project to enhance the registration assessment and future of pharmacy education? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced pharmacist to lead a pivotal project aimed at reviewing and enhancing our registration assessment question bank for the 2026 assessments. This role involves implementing a strategy to align content with the updated 2026 assessment framework and IETP 2021 Standards, by leveraging your pharmacy knowledge and experience.
This role is a 12-month fixed term role at 0.8 FTE (28 hours per week). We welcome applications from individuals who may want to continue additional pharmacist roles in the remainder of the week alongside this role, where there are no conflicts.
This role is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.
The successful applicant will:
- Lead a project to review the registration assessment question bank content and deliver a strategy for replenishing and aligning content with the updated 2026 assessment framework and IETP 2021 standards.
- Conduct a proof-of-concept pilot on the use of artificial intelligence to assist in the development of assessment content.
- Provide project management, guidance, and support for the work of the pharmacy professional contributors to the development of registration assessment content.
- Support the Board of Assessors in setting and moderating the registration assessment.
- Be a registered pharmacist with broad UK pharmacist experience, preferably multi sector.
- Have an unwavering commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK pharmacy practice, assessment practices, and equality legislation.
