Each year we hold two national registration assessments for foundation trainee pharmacists. Each assessment comprises of two papers. Part 1 is a 40-item pharmaceutical calculation paper and part 2 is a 120-item multiple choice paper. You can find out more about the registration assessment on our website.
The GPhC has a panel of standard setters who review questions for the registration assessment and set the raw assessment pass mark using a modified Angoff process. Full training on this process is provided once appointed.
