Our responses to consultations

We respond to consultations from other organisations that are about pharmacy or healthcare. 

It’s important for us to get involved with consultations led by other organisations that have a potential impact on patients and the public using pharmacy services, pharmacy professionals, pharmacies  or our work as a regulator.

We respond to consultations from governments and a variety of other organisations across England, Scotland and Wales.

When we respond to a consultation, it always reflects our policy or position on that issue. You can view our responses to consultations since 2018 below.

On rare occasions, the organisation which has issued the consultation will ask us to keep the documentation or our response confidential. In these cases, we don’t publish our response.
