Legislation restricting sale and supply of puberty blockers to be extended indefinitely

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has announced that existing emergency measures banning the sale and supply of puberty-suppressing hormones will be made indefinite.

It means the sale and supply of puberty blockers via private prescriptions for the treatment of gender dysphoria and gender incongruence will be banned indefinitely in UK for under-18s.

More information is available on the government website.
The DHSC also has more details on its page, Puberty blockers: what you need to know.
