The three standards for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to select from for their reflective accounts, when completing revalidation requirements, will remain the same for 2025.
Every year, when a pharmacist or pharmacy technician renews their registration with the GPhC, they must submit one reflective account record, one peer discussion record and four CPD records to records to show how they have carried out and recorded revalidation activities.
For the reflective account, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are required to select one or more of three standards chosen by the GPhC, and give one or more examples of how they have met the standard(s) in their practice.
The standards which will be retained for a further year from 1 January - 31 December 2025, are:
- Standard one: Pharmacy professionals must provide person-centred care
- Standard two: Pharmacy professionals must work in partnership with others
- Standard five: Pharmacy professionals must use their professional judgement
