The GPhC in Wales

We want to make sure that all patients and members of the public in Wales can access high-quality pharmacy services.

To help to achieve this, we work to make sure that pharmacy regulation responds to and reflects developments in Wales. This involves working closely with pharmacy and health professionals, pharmacy owners, the Welsh Government and the Senedd, regulatory and oversight bodies, and patients and the public across Wales to make sure pharmacy services are safe and effective.

Welsh language standards

We’re committed to fulfilling our obligations under the Welsh language standards.

The Welsh language standards promote and facilitate the Welsh language, and ensure that the Welsh language is not treated less favourably than the English language in Wales.

Welsh language on the GPhC website

Welsh language users can use the ‘Cymraeg’ button on the top right of each webpage to translate text on webpages into Welsh.

We have Welsh versions available of key documents, including our standards and guidance. For other documents, please use the translation tool in the ReciteMe toolbar, which opens automatically when you select ‘Cymraeg’. Please select the ‘Choose language’ button (which has the letter A and a chinese symbol) on the top navigation bar and select the Welsh language to view the PDF in Welsh.
