Get your flu jab – protect yourself, your patients and your family

2 December 2015

Anyone can be susceptible to influenza infection, even if they are in good health, and this is why we are supporting the Department of Health (DH) campaign to encourage healthcare professionals to get vaccinated against seasonal influenza

As a pharmacy professional providing key healthcare services, and often dealing with patients directly, we ask you to consider getting yourself vaccinated and to encourage your staff to get vaccinated as well.

The impact of influenza on frail and other vulnerable patients can be fatal and outbreaks of the infection can cause severe disruption in communities, care homes and hospitals.

Free supporting material is available from the NHS Employers website to help you promote vaccination in your organisation.
