As part of our commitment to working openly and collaboratively with the health professional regulators we have published a joint report on whistleblowing disclosures. The report provides information on all disclosures received from between 1 April 2017 and 31 March 2018.
Our aim is to be transparent about how we handle these disclosures, highlighting the action taken about these issues, and to improve collaboration across the health sector. This report demonstrates that we individually and collectively, take whistleblowing disclosures very seriously and should assure patients, the public and the professions that we will take action where appropriate to do so.
