New ethical decision-making framework to support pharmacists and pharmacy teams

The GPhC is supporting a new ethical decision-making framework to support pharmacists and pharmacy teams faced with making difficult decisions linked to the exceptional impact of Covid19.

The ethical decision-making framework has been published by the RPS and was developed by a diverse group, chaired by Dr Matthew Boyd of the Pharmacy Law and Ethics Association and including Annette Ashley, Head of Policy and Standards at the GPhC.

The framework can be used to support colleagues involved in strategic planning, or to help people with their medicines and is for use by pharmacy professionals in all settings.

More information is available on the RPS website.
